Bright Start Celebrates 6th Year Anniversary

“Sharing is letting miracles unfold.” ~ G.B.

Happy 6th anniversary to the Bright Start family!

Our projects, whether big or small, reflect our commitment to be an avenue for people to bring positive changes in the lives of children especially those with special needs. Disparities may continue to exist but we have witnessed what a simple crayon can do for a child or what it means for students in a school located in a remote island to finally have dictionaries and encyclopedias in their classrooms.

Give Books Give Love Events

A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really deeply cares. ~ Debi Mazar

We just celebrated National Heroes Day and we are very glad to have new Bright Start Heroes and new updates to share as we ring in the “ber" months.

Give Books -Give Love for Apas Day Care Centers

"Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you." — Robert Fulghum, author

Seeing young children in day care centers holding and reading books always make our day! We had another Give Books Give Love event last June 25 at Mahayahay Day Care Center and Sto. Niño Day Care Center (Barangay Apas, Cebu City). About 60 books were distributed and these were still part of the donations given by Bright Start Heroes --- Malapitan and Ellis family. Daghang Salamat!

A Bright Start for S.Y. 2015-2016

The new school year has started and we are all smiles as the students of Langub Elementary School (Kinatarcan Island, Sta. Fe, Cebu) and Lahug Elementary School (Cebu City) received a lot of blessings as they start another year of learning.
