Hello Palompon

“Don’t confuse your path with your destination. Just because it’s stormy now doesn’t mean you aren’t headed for sunshine.”

Today, as we remember Typhoon Yolanda, we offer prayers for those still dealing with loss, grief, and devastation. Four years have passed since that fateful day but we continue to gather strength and inspiration from the survivors and from people with the genuine desire to help. Indeed, there is always a silver lining. For Bright Start, it is the unwavering friendships that were formed with the donors, partners, and beneficiaries.

One of the schools wherein we had the opportunity to be part of the rehabilitation effort was Palompon South Central School (Leyte). We’re glad we have kept in touch and doubly happy to hear from Mr. Artemio Cardillo, the school’s principal, that the students were eager to read the newly donated books from our friends in Camarillo, California.

A big thank you to all our friends... for being ray of sunshine. ☺

To God be the Glory!
