Color-My-World Events Part 2

It is not not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do. ~ Moliere

Bright Start visited the students and teachers of Lahug Elementary School SPED Center last July 28, 2014. Through the donation given by the friends of the Saavedra family in Camarillo, Californa; Bright Start was able to distribute Life of JESUS Puzzle and Activity Books to 144 SPED students and provide educational toys for the classrooms of students with Intellectual Disabilities and Speech/ Hearing Impairment. It was also an opportunity to inform Mrs. Gina Labrador, the head of the SPED Center, that Bright Start will be providing free occupational therapy consultation and support services. We are excited and humbled to have this new mission. Since the visit gave us an overview of their needs, Bright Start happily endorsed to Mrs. Gina last August 12 a number of items for her multi-media classroom such TV, DVD, watercolor paints, and writing books.

To Bryan, Dahlia, and Kayla Saavedra, we are very grateful for the time you spent with us. Please extend our gratitude to all your Camarillo friends. Thank you Christine Buenaventura for always being there to assist us. Thank you Ruth and Ronald Catingan for donating the T.V.

Bright Start volunteers, Ms. Narsing and her daughter Honey, also distributed pencils to the students of Barangay Day Care Center in Banilad, Cebu City last August 11, 2014.

To God Be the Glory!
